About-CONSERD

CONSERD is an independent space project CONsultancy SERvice created by Dennis Nevejans, who has more than 35 years of experience in the design of scientific instruments for space and stratospheric research.

Dennis Nevejans started his career in 1970 at the Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy (BIRA-IASB) in Brussels, Belgium, where he acted as Head of Department for Engineering from 1985 on until his retirement in May 2007.

Before 1985, when he started designing, building and operating space instruments, his main field of activity was in-situ measurements on stratospheric ions by means of stratospheric balloon borne mass spectrometers.
